Dr. Bryan Tan is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic surgeon. He has completed 2 fellowships in Sports, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He worked in National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore in the Department of Orthopaedics, Division of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery as a full-time staff from 2010 to 2016 and is currently still a visiting consultant with NUH. Dr. Tan is actively involved with teaching medical students and young training surgeons and travels to regional countries to teach advanced arthroscopic surgery techniques.
Dr Bryan Tan manages general orthopaedic problems, but sub-specialises in Sports injuries and all kinds of shoulder problems. He is skilled in minimally invasive keyhole surgeries of the shoulder and has done the greatest number of keyhole Latarjet procedures (shoulder stabilisation surgery) in Singapore. He regularly visits fellow surgeons from other countries to ensure his skills and knowledge are cutting edge.

Dr Bryan Tan is a keen sports person himself. He was a school swimmer and did powerlifting in his younger years. He currently trains in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiujitsu. In addition, he enjoys wakeboarding and snowboarding. His interest in sports and varied sporting activities give him a deep understanding of sports injuries and the mindset of an athlete.
